Welcome to Scarborough Public School
Scarborough Public School is a small, inclusive school on the land of the Five Islands Dreaming, nestled between the sea and the escarpment in northern Wollongong. Our natural surroundings inspire learning, wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging.
We are proud to be a high-performing NSW public school, guided by the Department of Education’s Plan for Public Education. With three multi-grade classes, our students benefit from the close attention of a skilled and dedicated teaching team, supported by learning support staff and an Assistant Principal Curriculum & Instruction who drives ongoing improvement to lift outcomes.

Grow Your Mind School
Scarborough Public School is proud to be a Grow Your Mind School, embedding evidence-informed wellbeing practices across everyday teaching and learning.
Grow Your Mind supports students to understand their emotions, build self-regulation, develop positive mindsets and strengthen their mental fitness. Using a shared, child-friendly language and practical strategies, students learn how their brain works, how to manage big feelings, and how to care for their wellbeing over time.
Through classroom lessons, whole-school character strengths, and consistent language across playgrounds and learning spaces, our students:
