Welcome to Scarborough Public School

Scarborough Public School is a small, inclusive school on the land of the Five Islands Dreaming, nestled between the sea and the escarpment in northern Wollongong. Our natural surroundings inspire learning, wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging.

We are proud to be a high-performing NSW public school, guided by the Department of Education’s Plan for Public Education. With three multi-grade classes, our students benefit from the close attention of a skilled and dedicated teaching team, supported by learning support staff and an Assistant Principal Curriculum & Instruction who drives ongoing improvement to lift outcomes.

At Scarborough, students are at the heart of every decision. Strong relationships and a culture of trust allow every child to thrive. Teaching is purposeful, inclusive and grounded in explicit instruction, differentiation and a strengths-based approach that celebrates each learner.
